Printer Repair Contracts

Our contracts cover all makes and models of thermal transfer and direct thermal printers, including desktop, industrial, and print engine systems. Whether you’re running a single barcode printer or a fleet of 100+ units across multiple sites, we’ll tailor a service plan to suit your equipment, environment, and business priorities.

We support both current and legacy models, with Silver, Gold and Platinum contract tiers, as well as ad-hoc repairs, pre-paid support vouchers, and return-to-base workshop repairs.

Our Silver Contracts offer cost-effective breakdown support with unlimited callouts and next-business-day response—perfect for lower-usage environments or customers who hold their own spare parts.

  • Unlimited on-site breakdown callouts (fair usage applies)
  • All engineer labour and travel time
  • Next-business-day response time
  • Full telephone and remote desktop support
  • Discounted multi-printer pricing
  • Covers all eligible models (subject to pre-contract inspection)

 

🔧 Note: Silver Contracts do not include parts, consumables, or routine maintenance visits.

Our most popular option, Gold Contracts include everything from Silver plus all non-consumable parts supplied and fitted.

Included:

  • All Silver benefits
  • Supply and installation of non-consumable parts
  • Support for both current and discontinued models (where parts are available)
  • Significant multi-printer discounts for large fleets

 

🔧 Note: Printheads, platen rollers and pinch rollers remain chargeable.

For businesses where uptime is mission-critical, our Platinum Contracts deliver full coverage—including labour for consumable fitting and an annual preventative maintenance visit. Ideal for high-throughput production environments or multi-site operations.

Included:

  • Unlimited engineer callouts (fair usage applies)
  • All travel and labour
  • All non-consumable parts supplied and fitted
  • Labour for fitting of consumables (e.g. printheads, rollers)
  • 1x Annual Preventative Maintenance Visit per printer
  • Setup and media support, including software configuration
  • Telephone and remote desktop assistance
  • Coverage for all approved current and legacy models
  • Tiered discounts up to 50% for 100+ units on one site

 

🔧 Consumables are billed separately—only the fitting is covered.

Before activating any repair contract, we carry out a pre-contract inspection on each printer. This allows us to assess:

  • Model and firmware status
  • Existing faults or wear
  • Spare parts availability
  • Contract eligibility

 

We offer inspection services for both small and large printer fleets. Post-inspection, we’ll recommend the appropriate coverage for each unit.

Save money by consolidating support across multiple printers on a single site. Discounts apply as follows:

  • 3–10 printers: 10% off
  • 11–20 printers: 20% off
  • 21–50 printers: 30% off
  • 51–100 printers: 40% off
  • 100+ printers: 50% off

We continue to support a wide range of discontinued or legacy printers—often long after manufacturers stop supplying parts. Coverage depends on our ability to source components on a best-endeavours basis.

If you rely on an older model, we’ll do our best to keep it running while helping you plan for future replacement if needed.

No ongoing contract? We also offer flexible callout services for diagnostics, repair, printer configuration and setup:

  • Includes travel and first 30 minutes on-site
  • Additional time billed hourly
  • Replacement parts charged separately
  • Most repairs resolved within 2–3 working days

 

Ideal for one-off breakdowns, urgent faults or commissioning new hardware.

Prefer to control costs upfront? Our pre-paid maintenance vouchers give you flexibility without committing to a full contract:

  • Callout vouchers (labour-only or labour + parts)
  • Return-to-base repair vouchers
  • Telephone/remote support bundles (5, 10 or 20 calls)

 

Each voucher covers up to 2 hours of service or advice and is valid indefinitely. Use them as and when required—great for lower-frequency users or internal IT teams.

If your printer doesn’t need urgent attention, you can send it to us for in-house repair. Benefits include:

  • Fast diagnosis and repair turnaround
  • Only pay for time and materials used
  • Free return shipping on repaired units
  • Full inspection report and performance test included

 

We’ll waive the inspection fee if you approve the quoted repair.
