General Principles

Southern ID Solutions are fully committed to carrying out our business in an enlightenedhonest and helpful way. Our team have over 30 years of experience, which we utilise every day to assist businesses of every size and scope with auto ID solutions.

Our core values of value, quality and honesty resonate throughout our entire business and influence our day to day conduct. We talk to our customers, value their feedback and always strive to improve the service we provide.

Product Quality
We work extremely hard to ensure the quality of our products and services. All our products and suppliers have ISO 9001 and BRC accreditation. We have many long-standing partnerships with all the leading printer manufacturers and are approved re-sellers of the global brands Axicon, Citizen, Zebra and Toshiba.

Staff Safety & Wellbeing
We take the safety and wellbeing of our staff very seriously. All our staff have access to a company pension scheme, personal development training scheme, access to a trade union and have regular appraisal meetings with senior

members of staff to discuss their performance and address any concerns they may have.
We have worked hard to make our head office an enjoyable place to work. New premises provide our staff with a pleasant working environment, ample parking, central location and CCTV to ensure personal safety on site.

In addition we have recently implemented an intern and apprentice programme, supporting students and providing paid work placements as part of their higher education.

Environmental Impact
We always endeavour to take responsibility for the impact our business has on the wider environment, which means we are constantly working with our customers and suppliers to reduce waste and trade ethically.

At our head office, we use environmentally friendly office consumables where possible, carboard wastage is recycled, single walled boxes are used when possible for goods delivery and our IT systems have been strengthened so we can move towards being a paperless office.

Data Protection
In line with recent GDPR changes, we have developed and implemented a Privacy and Data Protection Policy to ensure we are transparent about what data we collect, what we do with that data and how our customers can access and amend it. We do not under any circumstance share or lease customer information for marketing purposes with companies outside the Southern ID Solutions group, unless required to by law.

Suppliers & Vendors
Our suppliers are chosen on the basis of factors such as price, quality, delivery, service, and integrity. The company’s choice of suppliers are made objectively and we constantly review their offering to ensure our customers get the best service. We ensure suppliers have in place their own code of conduct and resources, policies and systems to manage ethical trade.

We have created a new marketing strategy which details how we aim to create more helpful resources for our customers going forward, including product

specs, quick guides, trouble-shooting info and how-to videos. We send our customers news that is relevant to their industry and exclusive discounts on goods they may like to purchase from us. We seek permission to do this and they have a right at any time to stop this communication.

Pricing and Payment
We operate a concise team who work closely with our client base – we don’t believe in hidden or bloated fees. We constantly review our pricing structure on all our goods and services to ensure fair and honest pricing. Our payment terms are clearly detailed in all our purchase order and invoice documentation. We take pride in making payments to all our suppliers on time and within terms.

Customer Service/Relations
We offer free telephone and remote desktop support for all our customers, regardless of when they purchased goods or services from us. We provide on request free sample packs of labels and test samples of our thermal ribbons to ensure customer satisfaction prior to any purchase. We use customer survey platforms to monitor our performance and to seek guidance on areas where we could improve.

We work hard to creating new solutions for businesses, embracing the latest printing technologies and innovations such as allergen label printing and wi-fi label printing.

Social Responsibility
Southern ID Solutions continue to be committed to investing the local community in which we do business. Every year we support local organisations or projects that make an invaluable contribution to its participants.

We are very proud to support the work of Ferring Country Centre. This is an independent charity that provides meaningful training and work experience for people with learning difficulties. It’s an organisation close to our hearts and we  support them both financially and by promoting their events to the wider community.

We also sponsor the community Littlehampton Rugby Club to enable them to maintain and improve club facilities. We also support the club with player sponsorship and provide complementary consumables

to support Superstar Arts, who provide creative opportunities for local young people and adults with learning difficulties.
